What’s Cooking With Tatiana Karanja | Chicken Soup

Welcome to our first episode of What’s Cooking with Zucchini Greengrocers and Bosch Home Appliances, Vibe Proudctions and Tatiana Karanja. Giving you delicious, wholesome recipes perfect for the family.

Here we have Tatiana Karanja whipping up some delightful chicken soup, which is also suitable for the little one especially when they are sick and need those extra nutrients as well as hydration.

Recipe:
Chicken (organic preferred)
Carrots, peeled and cut in half
Turnip
Celery Stalks
Onions
Garlic
Pepper
2 bay leaves
Sprigs of fresh thyme

1)Place the chicken in a large pot, remove giblets.
2)Cut up the veggies and roast them for 30 minutes in the oven at 190 degrees.
3)Put enough water in the pot to cover the chicken- approx. 12 cups. Cover, bring to a boil. Reduce heat and simmer 1-1 ½ hours or longer, until chicken is cooked. 4)Remove chicken from stock and let cool.
5)Finely add the vegetables and herbs into your stock. Discard skin and bones and hand shred chicken meat from chicken and set aside. Use stock immediately for The Best Homemade Chicken Noodle Soup, or refrigerate upto one week or freeze for upto 3 months.

Enjoy 🙂
